Why cozy sims are the perfect end-of-day game

After a long day I don't want to be challenged. I want to potter around, and cozy simulation games are built for exactly that mood.

Tiny Harbor Town is a good example. You arrange little buildings, keep your townsfolk content, and watch a place grow slowly. There's no fail state, just steady, gentle progress.

The genius of these games is that they respect your energy. You can play for two minutes or twenty, and either way you leave feeling a little more relaxed than when you started.

The only trap is late-game slowdown, when timers stretch out and everything crawls. My advice: enjoy the early growth and don't chase the endgame too hard. It's about the process, not the finish line.
