Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that respects your time without dumbing itself down. The story follows a band of exiles rebuilding a fallen border town, and the writing has real personality — characters bicker, hold grudges, and occasionally surprise you.

Combat is turn-based but quick. You slot skills onto a small bar, and the fun comes from chaining companion abilities together. I spent a good hour just rearranging my party to see which combos clicked.

Progression is generous. You unlock new branches on the skill tree at a steady clip, and respecs are cheap, so experimenting never feels punished. This one earned a spot on my home screen.
