FISHIN' FRENZY

FISHIN' FRENZY is one of those games that sneaks up on you. You tap to cast, watch the line drift, and tap again to reel when a fish bites. It sounds almost too simple, but the rhythm of waiting and reacting turns out to be weirdly relaxing after a noisy commute.

The controls are all one-thumb friendly, which is exactly what you want on a phone. Each stretch of water has its own fish, and figuring out where the bigger ones hide became my little evening ritual. The art is bright and cartoonish, the sound of the splash is satisfying, and matches are short enough to fit into a coffee break.

What I liked most is that it never nags you. You open it, catch a few, and put it down without feeling like you missed something. That restraint is rare and I appreciated it a lot.
